Dear Parent, Guardian and Patient,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed because of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Orthodontic Association, the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
You will be required to comply with some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.
1). Be on time for your appointment as our schedule has changed to allow for social distancing.
2). Brush your teeth before coming to all appointments.
3). Everyone must have a mask on when entering our office.
4). One parent or guardian with a patient (no additional family members or friends).
5). No food or drink allowed.
6). Our office and clinical staff will be asking some screening questions before entering the clinic.
7). Our office and clinical staff will be checking temperatures on all patients before entering the
clinic with a touchless thermometer. Anyone presenting a fever will be rescheduled.
8). We ask that you use hand sanitizer when you enter and exit the office. You will find it in our
reception and clinical areas.
9). Please provide us with your current email address and cell phone number so updates can be sent.
10). Please continue to check our website for updates, changes, and closures.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at (920) 457-2267.
Sincerely,
Dr. William Shows and Staff
